RANDY K. JANEY, Chairman, earned a BA in Biology from Virginia Military Institute in 1987, where he was member of the track team.  He commissioned in the Army after graduating VMI and served as an Air Defense Artillery Officer.  He earned a JD from the University of Richmond in 1994, as well as an MSc degree in International Shipping and Maritime Law from the University of Plymouth (UK) in 1999.  In 1999 he joined Belgian Overseas Chartering and Shipping (BOCS) in its operations and logistics department. In 2004 he led a managed buyout of the company and expanded its shipping and logistics operations. In 2009 he sold BOCS, and shortly thereafter, became an equity partner in Balaton Park Entertainment Resort.  He and his family resided in Europe from 1999 to 2018, and now reside in Santa Barbara, CA.

BILL MILLER, CEO, earned a BA in English from Virginia Military Institute in 1989, where he was a four-year letterman and co-captain of the tennis team. He earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance from San Diego State University in 1996.  Mr. Miller started a real estate development company with Mr. Tederick in 1996.  Their work together includes having been land acquisition, design, development, and construction executives in the USA for the world’s largest owner and operator of commercial child care centers.  Mr. Miller’s real estate development, mortgage finance, and business consulting experience is extensive.  He and his family reside in Bethesda, MD.

MATTHEW A. TEDERICK, President, earned a BA in Economics and Modern Language from Virginia Military Institute in 1989, where he was a Distinguished Military Graduate. He was commissioned as an Army Military Intelligence officer and later became an Airborne Ranger serving with the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) during the Gulf War.  After military service he owned a multi-office investment advisory firm which he sold after 20 years in operation.  Utilizing his governmental, real estate, and investment knowledge, Mr. Tederick developed a thriving business solving complex problems for national residential and commercial construction entities in several states. In many cases, Mr. Tederick led the entitlement team consisting of attorneys, engineers, and architects in order to accomplish client objectives.  Mr. Tederick spearheaded over 35 projects, ranging from single parcel to 1,500 acres, mixed use (residential, commercial, industrial, institutional) developments.  Mr. Tederick resides with his family in Front Royal, VA.
